About Me
I have more than 12 years of experience in the communications industry, across corporate, policy, executive and consumer communications. Most recently, I led antitrust and litigation communications at Meta (formerly Facebook), where I oversaw a team of people focused on supporting Meta's narrative related to various antitrust lawsuits worldwide.
Prior to my work as Director of Policy Comms, I did extensive work on Meta’s Corporate and Executive comms teams, where I:
Ran communications for Global Head of Diversity, Maxine Williams
Supported the launch of new benefits, such as egg freezing (Meta was the first in the industry to cover egg freezing for non-medical reasons back in 2014) and expanded parental leave
Managed communications around the opening of the Frank Gehry-designed "Building 20" at Meta HQ in Menlo Park, CA
Managed press and internal communications related to the transition of the executive leadership team at Instagram.
Prior to Meta and Instagram, I spent 3.5 years on the Consumer Communications team at Edelman New York building narratives for a variety of consumer lifestyle brands.
Through my consulting business, I am focused on helping brands and businesses tell their story. Specifically, I am passionate about elevating women and people of color, and bringing awareness to products, projects and people who are changing their industry using technology in an impactful way.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking and spending time outdoors. I just completed an 80 mile hike across Patagonia earlier this year! I'm passionate about social justice, women’s rights, and access to education, and I'm a proud member of Slow Food, a nonprofit dedicated to "clean, fair food." I also sit on the board of Proboscis Theatre, a local theatre company in Chicago whose mission is to provoke imaginative collaboration between audience and artist.
